What does "yet" mean here?

I was so angry that I yelled "idiot" after him. He turned and looked at me, remaining calm, yet.

I this grammatically correct and does it sound natural?

What does "yet" mean here?

The usage is unusual, but grammatically acceptable. Depending on the context, "yet" here could mean one of the following: in spite of my repeated badgering in spite of it (but he was soon to explode)
