What does touche mean?

Hello everyone, I head someone say "touche" after a comment, could you explain to me what it means? Is it slang? Is it used in both American and British English? Thank you.

The word "touché" is used to admit that somebody has made a valid point in a discussion or an argument. It's not really slang; it's more like an informal interjection. And I'm fairly sure it would be understood on either side of the pond.
