What does "totally hook it up" here mean?

A: Well that is what she said.

B: I can't believe we were in the same class this whole semester and we just met today.

A: Yeah. It's too bad.

B: Too bad.

A: Well, just because class is over, doesn't we still can't see each other, right?

B: Yeah. I can come by the bowling alley where you work.

A: Cool, totally hook it up.

What does "totally hook it up" here mean? Does it mean let's make it happen, I mean let's hang out? right because I have looked "hook it up" up in Cambridge dictionary and it showed me the meaning "make something happen.
