What does "toast the good times" mean exactly?

So, I stumbled upon this website here that uses the following sentence: "Fire up the bbq and toast the good times with friends and family." What does "toast the good times" mean exactly? Does it it imply consuming alcoholic drinks, or not necessarily?


Also, is it a variation of "toast to the good times," which as far as I understand, means to raise a toast, i.e., raise your glass (of wine, most frequently) to wish those present something before you actually drink it.
