What does those CAPITALIZED phrase mean?

Writing an effective personal statement can prove to be a daunting challenge for a university applicant. WITH LITTLE OTHER THAN RAW NUMBERS in your a0pplication, the personal statement is the only way for you to make yourself stand out from thousands of other applicants.

" So if we say "There is little other than raw numbers in the application," we mean simply that the application consists mostly of numbers. "Raw numbers" means numbers without detailed explanation of what those numbers mean or signify.
