Is "Take the picture already" correct English to you?? To me it makes no sense. "already" means that something has already happened. You cannot ask someone to do something that has already happened.

Thanks, actually now you mention it, it does ring a bell. I don't think we use it in the UK.

GPY I don't think we use it in the UK.
We don't, but I have heard it often enough on American TV shows. It seems to come from Yiddish influence.
