What does this sentence mean?

send me your character reference certificates from your previous companies of school as I need to process your offer letter.

Hi Jess, I think "of" is supposed to be "or". They want certificates EITHER from previous companies that you have worked for, OR from your school. Regards, David.

Oh, hi Jess. Sorry, I missed your follow-up question here.

If you have already sent copies of your character references, it's possible that the organisation you sent them to mislaid them, or they ended up with the wrong person, or something. I think it wouldn't do any harm to send fresh copies, if you have them.

Best of luck with everything.
David.
