What does this sentence mean?

Hye everyone! could you please tell me ,what does this sentence mean?
I heard it in a movie"Up untill 3 days ago,a little girl fell in to the river"

silak12 "Up untill 3 days ago,a little girl fell in to the river" This makes no sense. It is not grammatically correct. Maybe: Up until 3 days ago, little girls had (too often) fallen into the river.
