I find it difficult to understand this contract.

Lawyers commonly write unclear English, and I guess this problem becomes worse if their first language is not English.

Hi - I'm also a lawyer, and I agree with Clive (who previously responded to you). This is very poorly written -- so poorly that I can't understand it myself and certainly can't advise you as to what it means. I hope the rest of your contract isn't as poorly written as this.
