What does this mean ? Is this natural?
Could you sit lower in your chair?

You say this to the person in front of you. You ask him to sit deep in his chair so you can see the screen better.

The idea of asking someone to 'sit a little lower' in their seat seems very strange to me. If I sit behind a person tall enough to obstruct my view, I move to another seat. I don't even know how one 'sits lower' without being uncomfortable.
