What does this "bunk off" mean?

We bunk off in a toilet. No assembly.

Does it mean that they skip class and go sitting or hiding in a toilet? If this sentence isn't natural in spoken English nor street English, what is the natural version of this?

Bunk off means skip, skive anyway.
