NL888Thank you. I've got a clearer picture. But in a whole, the meaning of the passage is still not crystal clear for me.Does " The multiverse, for all that it is extravagant" mean "the multiverse, although the multiverse is extravagant/overly rich"?Right. Even though the multiverse is extravagant, it is nevertheless simple.
NL888 Now I feel that I've almost got the entire of the passage. A minor question: Does "as the entities he is supposed to explain" mean "as same as the entities he is supposed to explain"? Or "because of the entities he is supposed to explain"?"the entities" are improbable in a statistical sense.
NL888 Thanks.Does "the entities" mean "anything in the universe"?As per my first reply.
