What does that phrase stand for?

Hello.

Recently I heard such a phrase: "Mop up on aisle (1,2,3...etc.)". What can it mean?

Thanks for any help.

What were the circumstances? If you heard it over the loud speaker in a supermarket spoken exactly that way, it would probably indicate that there was a hazardous spill at that location, and that someone from the cleanup crew should attend to it immediately. "A mop-up" could be a standard expression used to describe this situation.
