What does take it back mean?

Is "taking it back" a reference to the "song" that they launch into? The name of the song, or a lyric from it?

It's not the song's name. The lyrics doesn't contain the phrase, either.

Could be I suppose, but from the way he says it, and repeats it, and seems to expect that the phrase "taking it back" will mean something to people, and the way they respond, it gives the impression that the phrase has some extra significance. But if it's nothing to do with the song title or lyric
