Subsidiary, not alternative. I don't think "second" is a good interpretation.

Proctor and Gamble is a company. It has its own brand. It makes many lines of products, each with their own brand.

Subsidiary brands of P&G include Puffs tissues, Crest toothpaste, Herbal Essense shampoo, and dozens more.
