What does "sided" mean here?

Maybe it has something to do with time.

Could it mean that the waltz stretches over two sides of a record (i.e. old-style vinyl record)?

I see only two contentful Google hits for "two-sided waltz". One seems to be referring to two different ways of interpreting a waltz, and the other one I don't understand. Clearly it is not a well known term.

Surely all waltzes are in 3/4 time. That is one of the main defining characteristics of the waltz.
