I'm reading "Trainspotting" at the moment and came across the expression "to shite oot" which I don't quite understand. Since I'm writing a thesis about this book, it's quite important for me that I get the meaning right and I hope anybody can help me.
For a better understanding I might better give you the context (I don't know if I'm allowed to write down the swear words though, so I better leave them out and mark them by ***)
-They c***s've goat the f***in poppy. You're the c*** thits eywis f***in gaun oan aboot killin the rich n aw that anarchy shite. Now ye want tae f**ing shite oot!
Thanks in advance,
Eva

What was the word before *****? Don't worry we have an auto censor but I'll still be able to see it. (as a moderator)
Mr Wordy's suggestion is good, but otherwise the ***** is '****' - it's a scottish and northern English pronounciation. It is maybe being used here in the slang sense for 'stuff'. He is 'X-ing' stuff out.
