What does she do?

A: What does she do?

B: She touches her horse.

I have seen the conversation and I think it should be

A: What is she doing?

B: She is touching or patting her horse.

This conversation is natural and correct, I think.

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much in advance.

I agree with you. Actually, the question is not natural. " But if she's grooming/patting/feeding/saddling etc .

You could ask, "What does she do?" and reply "She kicks the horse."

But if she's grooming/patting/feeding/saddling etc. the horse, the question should be, "What is she doing?"

I really can't imagine a horse owner saying, "I'm touching my horse."
Maybe, "Don't you dare touch my horse!"

Thank you so much and could you tell me how this one, "What does she do?" and reply "She kicks the horse." is okay to use? I think "What does she do?" means what her job is, not the act. What do you think? Thank you so much as always and have a good day.

"Do" has many uses. Emotion: nodding
I tried to interpret this "conversation" as it was presented:
A. What does she do?
B.
