What does "really" and "already" grammatically modify?

1.Hardwig recognizes that there already is a legal right to refuse lifeprolonging medical treatment.

2.“Are you sure there is really a house in here ?

I'm not sure whether it's correct to analyze "already" and "really" as grammatically modifying "is" in each sentence.

I think both are modifying "is" because it seems to make sense to think the way.

Please tell me whether I'm right. If I'm wrong, would you give an explanation?

You realize, I hope, that your ability to determine what modifies what in sentence will not have much effect on your ability to read and write, speak and understand English.
