My JOB is to write corporate communications. Anything I got that advertised their services this way would go into the trash. It's jargon-y and (in my opinion) ridiculous.

Perhaps it is a job posting? Telling someone they will have a role sounds like what their job will be. I can only guess that they mean you will "stretch" (work a little beyond your current capab

Marius Hancu and Grammer Geek. Thank you so much for your help. That's right. It's kind of like a job posting from Standard Charters Bank. Looks like it's just a marketing thing. I was just trying to understand what they are talking about on their brochure. It seems it went too far.

Yes. It is also typical of "business consulting jargon" to mix terms like depth and stretchin the same sentence.
