What does "smacked bottom" mean?

I saw the Shrek, but I couldn't understand "You're going the right way for a smacked bottom"

What does that mean?

In this instance, it is being used as a form of threat.

"The right way to a smacked bottom" is "the right way to get/to end up with your bottom smacked/a smacked bottom".
