What does "cook a doodle" mean?

****-a-doodle-do is how we express the sound of a cockeral crowing in British English.

You can't "cook a doodle" but a **** (male hen) can "****-a-doodle-do" ;-)

Here in the States, we would say "****-a-doodle" for the sound a rooster makes.

Hmm...it deletes the word because it thinks it is obscene. The first letter is "c"; the second is "o"; the third is "c"; and the fourth is "k."
