What does "coach" mean in this sentence?

Hello!

I am not so sure I understand "coach" mean in this sentence, as below. Could you help me out?

Would you like first-class or coach?

Thank you very much!

Hi, Would you like first-class or coach? Planes and trains, and possibly other forms of transportation I can't think of, offer different levels of comfort, for which you pay different prices. I believe 'coach' refers to the cheap level.

  • Other words include 'economy' or 'economy class' - I'm not sure if that is the same as 'coach' or a little different.
  • There is also 'business class'.
