What does "Lucy Logic" mean?

Hello!

Watching the drama, there is a phrase that I cannot understand the meaning.

A rich old man is murdered, and his young girlfriend becomes the suspect.
She says to the detective "Can I be Lucy Logic for a bit?…He was my meal
ticket. Kill him, go hungry".
What is this "Lucy Logic"? I guess it has something to do with the old drama
"I love Lucy", but I haven't watched the drama so I can't find out the meaning.

Hello, Apple green-- and welcome to English Forums. I don't think that 'Lucy Logic' refers to anything else. The phrasing is a jocular way of suggesting a type of personality, skill, etc.

  • This kind of alliterative coinage is ephemeral : Johnny Jump-up , ***** the Weeper , etc.

Thank you for your answer, Mister Micawber.

I didn't realize it's an alliterative phrase, double "L".
So it's a kind of play on word, no deep meaning.

Thank you!
