What does "laugh out"mean in the following sentence

I bet you’re anxious to start tickling the keyboard to see if it laughs out a working Papervision3D project

Top answer

It essentially means "produces"; there is a play on words between "laughs" and "tickling" (when you tickle someone, they supposedly laugh). If "laugh" has additional connations then I'm not sure what they are without seeing all the context. It could suggest that making the project is fun to do, or is very quick to do, or even that the results are risible.
