What does "knock me clean over" mean?

Hey there,

Could you help me please with these expressions?

The first thing i realise as we venture out of the patrol headquarters at the top of Cairngorm ski resort station, is that a 70 mph wind isn't just an irritant which has caused all the ski lifts to close - it is also an awesome force vicious enough to knock me clean over?

Thanks.

The ski lifts are mechanical devices which take skiers to the top of the mountain (so they can ski down ). Severe winds can cause the cables to come off the pulleys on the towers, so they sometimes shut the lifts down in the interest of safety. All large ski facilities have volunteer or professional ski patrols, who rescue people who have gotten into trouble.
