What does "Kitchifying" mean?

Hi!

I was watching the Good Wife season 6 episode 16. There is a line saying:

And why are we kitchifying these babies and turning 'em into these cute little Raphael cherubs, at the same time, we're aborting 1.2 million of them a year?

In this sentence, what does kitchifying mean? I think it means nurturing or something, but I just cannot find its definition in the web or any dictionary.

Can anyone please illuminate me and tell the origin of this word?

Many thanks.

Interesting question. I had to look up the fragment online before I could make any sense of it. Still not quite sure whether I got it right or not.

Isnt't it "kitschyfying", a sort of neologism used there to emphasize the kitschy character of those cherub.

It should be spelled "kitschify" ("kitsch" + suffix "-ify", meaning to make something kitsch).

Right. I've made that mistake. Mea culpa. (Hopefully, my atonement won't be so severe as I'm a non-native.)

I've got to correct myself, it should be:

Makes more sense, yes. :-)
