What does "it refer to?

Unlike learning the correct spelling of "school," the correct answer in music is constantly changing as "it" interacts with, and is re-created by, the child.

In the above sentence, does "it" refer to "the correct answer in music," or just "music?"

I can hardly believe someone asked the exact same question!

But, having read the link, I'm not quite sure about what is right. Rather, to me, it complicated the matter more.

My initial thought was that "it" should refer to "music." But it was not clear in the aforementioned article.

Someone even suggested that "it" should be "a piece of mucic"
