What does it mean i am ripe?

I'm a bit confused as to who says "I'm ripe." Usually it would mean "I'm sweaty and stinking" -- which would work if it was said by the same person who said "I've been in here for three days."

Without prior context, I agree that "sweaty and smelly" is likely,

but we shouldn't completely discount the expression, "ripe for the picking."

It's frequently used to described a person, although usually in the third person.

(As a pejorative, we seldom say it about ourselves, unless we simply mean "ready" - not a pejorative.)
