Y'all sittin' up here comfortable. Must feel good. It's about two billion people all over the world that looks like us. But their lives are a lot harder. Wakanda has the tools to liberate 'em all.

What does the third sentence (It's about two billion people all over the world that looks like us.) mean?

Also, what's the role of "it" here?

"it", if that's what he says, is a dummy. "it's" is a not-very-standard way of saying "there are", i.e. expressing the existence of something. I am not 100% certain that he says (or intends to say) "it". It could be that he greatly clips or slightly fluffs "there's".
