what does it mean?

"People need me. I fill them. if they can't see me for a while they get desperate, they get sick.
but if i see them too often I get sick. It's hard to feed without getting fed."

anyone can explain the whole meaning please? especially the last sentence

I'm afraid I'm not sure. I would guess that "feed" and "fed" are used in the figurative sense of sustaining someone emotionally.

I can't think of any way to explain it more clearly. If it does actually mean that -- which I am not 100% certain about -- then that is the clearest explanation I can think of.
