What does it mean?

Hi teachers,

I don't understand what this sentence mean below. Please explain it to me. And is this sentence sound natural to you?

Here it is:

I still haven't developed the pictures. I took them on my holiday.

And another point of view - A person from the US would use the word 'pictures' where a person from the UK would use the word 'photographs' as in the reply from 247. I am guessing you are from the UK because of the use of the words 'photographs' and 'holidays'.

The US English version -

I still haven't printed the pictures I took on my vacation.
