Dear Tiarra,

It is by Wordworth. «Violent» is «violet»:

A violet by a mossy stone
Half hidden from the eye;
Fair as a star, when only one
Is shining in the sky.
A violet is a small blue flower. Here, it is by a stone. Moss covers the stone.

Because the violet is by the stone it is not easy to see. It is therefore «half hidden
