What does "establish" mean in this sentence?

Rachel is on the phone with Daddy who just ran away from her wedding and looked for her friend Monica.

RACHEL: Look Daddy, it's my life. Well, maybe I'll just stay here with Monica.

[ MONICA: Well, I guess we've (established) who's staying here with Monica... ] <--- Monica is explaining to her roommates

RACHEL: Well, maybe that's my decision. Well, maybe I don't need your money. Wait! Wait, I said maybe!

I think : we was just told / realized Monica would stay here.

Thanks.

I think 'established' means 'decided' (although Rachel doesn't sound very sure). It also suggests the meaning "agreed upon" (but the words 'I guess we've' before it suggests it was a reluctant agreement.)
