What does besides mean apart from or in addition to?

Besides(apart from) system files my phone has 22 gb of storage

But besides also mean in addition to and in addition to also means including.

This is what confuses me.

As the dictionary says One definition of besides is apart from And second is in addition to.

As far as i think apart from and in addition to are antonyms As in addition to is quite similar to including

Apart from (Besides) the 3 gb of system storage, it has 22 gb of user storage.
