What do you use

If I want to know which word, like BATHROOM and WASHROOM, people use, how should I phrase the question?:

-What word/which word do you use to refer to that place?
-How do you refer to that place?
-What do you refer to that place as?

Thank you.

um...I think this definition from OALD8th is what I had in mind:

-a room in which there is a toilet, a sink and sometimes a bath/ bathtub or shower (from bathroom)

Then I use 'bathroom' in a home and 'restroom' at a more public facility.
