Having a bee in your bonnet about deleterious effects of TV does not necessarily mean that we must get rid of our TVs overnight.
However, I agree with you on the point that TV is a mixed blessing. But, whether it is a blessing or a curse is open to question. If one takes a closer look at this issue and carefully weighs up its pros and cons he/she can conclude that its pros far outweigh its cons.
