Oh! I think you are very noble. May be you are in the age of mine. I always afraid of Frenchmen.I always feel they are already give me a lot of zeros. When I was a little girl I used to get bad marks. However, I like Francois Hardy,Sheila.And an another word, my idole was Christophe.I hung a lot of his photos on the wall. But my daughter is very different. She liike to practice French With French men but her idole is korean. I see a lot of photos of Yang ...It seems he plays the role of the doctor.But she thinks french man is gallant and open~ minded She says her teacher tells her you think Vietnamese men are fierce because it's difficult to heal some deseases. {She is a gynecologist.}

Hey, I'm French and I find my people are... not very good.
I love my language and I don't like when French speak their language bad.
Okay, French is difficult. I'm a 15-year-old French pupil and I haven't finish learning my own language!

French don't like school and a lot of parents don't care their child haven't any success because school is TOTALLY FREE!

And don't believe the clichés about us:
-We don't walk in a street with a bread under our arm
-We wear berrets (not since... about 1950)
-Every French are not farmers
-French don't eat snails and frogs everydays! (It's like Japanses eat dogs: lots of people hate that)
-French don't have good personal hygiene (WHAT?! I have a shower everydays!)
-They don't speak English (It's not totally false, but you can say: "Oh! French accent is so cute!")

AND THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER CLICHES!

On a lighter note, the french people have a nice fashion taste, a different one. Walking on the streets of Paris is always enjoyable.
