What do you say to talk about something worth showing off?
What do you say to talk about something worth showing off? I want a phrase meaning something worth showing off. Can I say bragging right? or shock value? or even showing-off value?
My closeness to foreign teachers is a shock value. My closeness to foreign teachers is a showing-off value. My closeness to foreign teachers is a bragging right.
Top answer
Possibly #3, but it is very clumsy. I strongly recommend 'I am proud of my friendship with foreign teachers'. Clive

"shock value" means that it would be horrifying. "showing-off value" is awkward and unnatural. "bragging rights" seems like an overkill for this type of situation.
