What do you mean by "It's taken."?

Hello.

I have heard the expression "It's taken." in a movie.

Maybe it meant "This is occupied"

What do you say when someone knocks on the door in the lavatory?

I have heard "Someone's in." How about "Engaged"?

Sorry to ask funny questions.

I would be appreciate it if you correct mistakes in my writing English. kenji

If it's home and the person knocking is a family member, the response is that the sibling inside yells to the knocking "I'm in here!"

In public, options include "Just a moment!" or "This one is occupied." or "Be out in a second!"
