She who is a Vietnamese told me "viet sai tum lum".
So I couldn't catch what she mean with it.
So I asked her, what do you mean by viet sai tum lum?
But,
Is that expression " What do you mean by viet sai tum lum?" a right expression?
By is a preposition, not a conjunction.
Should I ask, what do you mean by that expression viet sai tum lum?
