What do you call this device, please ?

Hi!

Please, what do we call that plastic cover used mainly by women when they take a shower and don't want to wet the hair ? Is it a bath cap/bonnet ? It sounds strange to me . I don't think this is the correct word.

My mother called it a "shower cap." I haven't seen one in years!
