What do you call this?

What do you call those bars with a lot of sockets that you can plug your electronic device into, not the wall sockets though.

Yes, and in Canada too. I eat lots of them

But if someone says 'My computer is plugged in to a power bar', I usually don't get confused about it.

Just for the record!..

In the UK it is called a gang socket extension lead

In common speech you can put a number in front of it and abbreviate: a four-gang extension lead, for example, has four outlets
