What do you call a person who doesn't read much, who is not a reading enthusiast?

I came across 'weak reader' but it just doesn't sound right.

It isn't. A weak reader does not read well.

We call a reading enthusiast a bookworm. "No bookworm" is the best I can do. "John is no bookworm. He hasn't picked up a book since high school."
