What do these phrases mean?

Hi everybody,

i heard these phrases many many times on tv but i don't know what they mean.

"crazy fun", "work buddies"(does this mean "colleagues"?).

also, i wonder that if a girl can call another girl "hey, buddy"? 'coz i just heard it said from men so far.

Hope you can help.

THANKS.

Hi there sunshine, 'crazy fun' is just another way to say 'lots of fun'. Yes, work buddies suggests 'friends from work' or just colleagues if its a fairly relaxed office/employer... Buddy does tend to be used more by men, but i don't think you'd offend anybody with it, just like dude is usually for guys, but could work either way?

  • perhaps this has helped?
  • although I've confused myself a little answering the latter!

'Crazy fun' means very much fun, and, generally, 'work buddies' either means colleagues or friends from work. And, yes, sometimes a girl can call another girl a 'buddy', but usually it's just the males who say that. This is all just one big-hypotheisis, if you will-considering I'm only in sixth grade.
