What do I say?

For example I am having a discussion with a friend.

Friend: How do you enjoy playing football? It is so boring. Play basketball instead.

then what do I tell him?

Me: Well, football is boring for you. Not for me. Each person has..?

Can I say different tastes? different ways of enjoying themselves?

They are both good phrases, but "different tastes" would be faster and get to the point. When it comes to activities, you can also say, "different hobbies"
