What do British people think of Poles?

Question

Hi, I'm 19yo guy from Poland (my name is Karol, you can call me Charles - Charles in polish means Karol) and I moved to UK, people here think I'm another damned immigrant without language or money and generally hate me because of nationality. I'm just a normal guy who likes rain, british weather, (because of allergy) culture, history, simply whole country and wants a normal life in country that I tend to love :/

That's a stereotype. Not all British people think that. Often, there isn't as much rain in the UK as many foreigners seem to think.

Poles are famous in the UK for being efficient and reliable plumbers and builders.

You need a full stop there.

You'd have more chance of becoming a policeman. There are many more police forces to apply to, in the UK, than armed forces. The armed forces would also have stricter recruiting criteria.
