The context:
‘Where is Dinon? What’s he doing?’ Felix said to Adam. ‘He’s hiding – perhaps with friends.’
My questions, are both possible?
a) What did Adam think that Dinon was doing?
He thought (that) he was hiding, perhaps with friends.
b) What did Adam say that Dinon was doing?
He said (that) he was hiding, perhaps with friends.
