I don't think I know that word. It sounds as if he says "wammering". Perhaps it is a word made-up for the occasion. Perhaps it is a slang word that I don't know. Hopefully someone else may be able to help.

I think he made it up. He probably needed a word that rhymed with "hammering."

There's the onomatopoeic word "wham," which as a verb can mean "strike forcefully," and I guess he just stuck an extra syllable in it.

To me, 'wammering' (I hear that too) is there just to rhyme with 'hammering'. The 'w' in wammering is there probably because the words wimp or wuss start with it, so 'stop wammering' basically means 'don't be a wimp/wuss'.

BTW, the kid's name is Wong so maybe it has something to do with that.
