What did he mean by "Not much to say here"?

One American man that I know said "Not much to say here, I'm still sick and ......" What does "Not much to say here" mean? What did he mean by that? He used that expression because he didn't want to talk with me? or he just didn't have so much things to talk about him?

Anonymous he just didn't have so much things to talk about him? That is right. It is a common sort of phrase when we think we have nothing interesting to tell.
